Requesting Access

1403 University is a space managed by the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub and is reserved for spokes and members of the entrepreneurial community. We offer a range of event spaces and private offices that can be reserved for a brief meeting, a full day event, an extended hoteling session, or numerous other configurations.

If you don’t have access and would like to, please contact Samantha Nash at smnash@wisc.edu.

Reservable Spaces

All reservations are made through the EMS system. There are two distinct processes depending on what you need:

  • Hoteling Offices and Conference Rooms: These spaces are set up for self-service booking. You can reserve available dates/times directly in EMS for individual drop-in work or team meetings.
    • Conference Room: Equipped with a screen for presentations and a glass board for team meetings, group discussions, or video calls.
    • Room 103: A 14’x9’ office with a single desk, docking station and monitors.
    • Room 213: An 11’x11’ office with two desks and a whiteboard.
    • Room 217: A 13’x9’ office with three desks.
    • Room 218: A 17’x9’ office with four desks.
    • Room 219: A 12’x10’ office with two desks and a whiteboard.
    • Room 220: A 12’x10’ office with two desks and a whiteboard.
  • Event Spaces: Because events often require extra coordination for setup, sponsorship, and catering, these requests will go through a quick review and approval process once submitted via EMS. We ask that you give a two-week lead time for events, and complete the Event Request Form as part of your booking.
    • First floor: Room 100, a 30’x35’ event space with configurable tables and chairs and an A/V system suitable for dual in-person and remote presentations.
    • Second floor: Room 200, a 27’x24’ event space on the lower level with an entry way. The space has configurable tables and chairs that can be removed.
    • Second floor: Room 201, a 36’x30’ event space that is open and works well for presentations or receptions.
